BWBO America offers our BWBO Members, Community Sponsors, Advocates, and Influencers the opportunity to grow their audience by sharing their business expertise with our members on our private platform.
We are partnering with our members who are experts in business to offer courses as a part of our Blueprint in a Box program. For example:

- Business Finance/Budgeting 101
- Taxes and Book-Keeping 101
- Business Planning 101
- Business Mapping 101
- Business Funding 101
- Business Credit 101
- Business Funding 101
- Business Marketing 101
- Business Mapping 101
We will host, advertise and promote. When someone purchases your course/seminar from our website, you get PAID, gain exposure, and possibly a client and a tax write-off.
How it works: As a BWBO speaker, you will be considered an affiliate. You will receive 40% of the proceeds. BWBO will receive 60% as a tax-deductible donation. Content will be hosted on BWBO America membership portal for a minimum of 12 months, or until the speaker gives BWBO America 30 days notice in writing to discontinue the course in question. Important Note: If you aren't a "paid" BWBO member, you can still apply to become a speaker/instructor but you will not be paid for their content. Instead, your course will be considered an in-kind donation for the value of the course/content or volunteer.
We’re so glad you’re interested in becoming a speaker for BWBO America. Below, you’ll find additional information about the application process. All applications are carefully vetted, as well as their course material, seminars, for quality, as we aim for our speakers/instructors to deliver actionable, implementable results.
Please allow up to two weeks for your application to be processed.
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:
We require that potential speakers take the time to submit a comprehensive package to us for consideration. Please send the following materials to info@bwboamerica.com.
- An online clip of no more than 15 minutes of a presentation you have done in the last two years. The clip can be on Vimeo, YouTube, or on your website, but it should not require our team to download a copy – streaming only.
- A professional photo - if you don’t have one, just send us a nice clear photo.
- Course titles, topics, and description paragraph of keynotes. Strong applications include learning outcomes for each program.
- References.
- Your website address, if applicable so that we can dig a little further on you if needed.
- A link to your book or articles you have written, relevant to your proposed speaking topic.
- A list of previous colleges and/or conferences you’ve presented at if any.
- Time to answer a few questions about yourself, why you’re uniquely qualified to speak to black women entrepreneurs, and your speaking ambitions.
